I had the honor of being invited as a Guest Speaker at IIM Sambalpur on 23rd–24th August 2025, where I shared insights on technology, entrepreneurship, and India’s vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. The session revolved around a powerful and timely theme — “Ideas Matter Most.”
In today’s fast-evolving digital economy, ideas are the true currency of innovation. The discussions at IIM Sambalpur went beyond academic frameworks and focused on real-world impact, innovation, and nation-building.
Why “Ideas Matter Most” for Viksit Bharat 2047
India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat @2047 will not be driven by policy alone. It will be powered by bold ideas, deep-tech innovation, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship.
During the interaction, we discussed how:
- India’s startup ecosystem can become the engine for inclusive and scalable growth
- Deep-tech domains such as AI, blockchain, and sustainability will shape global competitiveness
- Innovation aligned with national priorities can strengthen Atmanirbhar Bharat
The passion and curiosity of the students made it clear that India’s future innovators are already preparing to lead.
My Session: Technology × Entrepreneurship = Bharat 2047
In my session titled “Tech × Entrepreneurship = Bharat 2047”, I shared practical insights based on real-world experience, focusing on:
- Building globally relevant yet India-centric solutions
- The growing importance of deep-tech startups in India’s growth story
- Aligning innovation with the vision of a developed, self-reliant, and globally influential India
I also shared lessons from my journey as CTO at Judge India Solutions — including successes, failures, and key learnings — to give students a realistic perspective on entrepreneurship.
IIM Sambalpur: Shaping Thinkers, Builders, and Job Creators
The energy on the IIM Sambalpur campus was truly inspiring. The institute is not just nurturing management talent, but actively shaping thinkers, innovators, and job creators.
The questions raised by students were thoughtful, forward-looking, and deeply connected to real-world challenges — a strong sign that the next generation is ready to build, not just seek opportunities.
